The reasoning for the title of this site 'Astral' Wiki as opposed to something perhaps more appropriate such as Metaphysical-Wiki is three fold:
- Astral is shorter and easier to remember.
- My original interest in the topics covered in this site originated in the learning process of Astral Projection.
- I have made a few friends at AstralSociety.com who are assisting with maintenance of this site (moderation and creation of new topics).
The concept for this site originated out of a desire for the owner of it to see a more centralized informational source on the subject matter of metaphysical and parapsychological topics. Much of the information on this site will likely be copied off other sources (such as Wikipedia) however, certain terms, in reference to metaphysical topics, are not explained properly (in the manner we use them) or in many cases at all on sources such as Wikipedia and so the goal of this site is:
- Centralize information on these topics.
- Clarify certain topics which may be especially confusing to new members interested in metaphysics and parapsychology.
